Intervac Australia was formed in late 2002 to handle the Australian distribution of a wide range of cleaning products made by the UK company Numatic International. This was later followed with the introduction of other products made by the Italian company Cilmas (Mirage) and then from the USA came Kaivac the inventors of 'No Touch Cleaning'.
All of these products are distributed throughout Australia via a dealer network, which covers most major centres. Of course being on the other side of the world from these manufacturers, meant that we had to carry adequate stock to meet the demands of our dealers and their customers. So it was imperative that we operated out of a suitable building to meet our requirements. We found all this in the Perth suburb of Welshpool. To further improve our service we have also opened a warehousing facility in Sydney to supply more speedily dealers operating on the East Coast of Australia.

Our Suppliers
Numatic International is based in Chard, a small town in the southwest of England and was founded in 1969.They are now the largest manufacturer of cleaning equipment in the UK. producing a wide range of products that include floor scrubbers, janitorial trolleys, vacuum cleaners-both commercial and industrial- and of course their Homecare range of vacuums all complete with the ever smiling faces and names such as Henry, James, Charles and George.
Built to meet the most stringent international safety standards, Numatic is sold in over 60 countries and is a forerunner in World cleaning today.
Cilmas (Mirage) has been manufacturing floor scrubbers for many years. Based in a small Italian town near Firenze these small easy to use floor scrubbers use up to 90% less water and chemical than conventional machines and can clean all types of floor coverings from stone through to carpet.
Kaivac was first founded in 1997 in Hamilton, Ohio when their MD recognised a need for a machine to clean areas such as washrooms, kitchens, stairwells etc without workers having to touch soiled, contaminated surfaces. Designed for total soil removal ‘No Touch Cleaning’ combines an indoor pressure washer, chemical injection and wet/dry vacuum technologies onto a single space-efficient platform.
